Evaluate

As Sherlock Holmes said, “It is a capital mistake to theorize before one has data.” That’s why a data-informed approach guides all our work.

Our Approach

Data collection and evaluation are essential to understanding the state of sexual and reproductive health in Nebraska and inform our efforts to shape the future. We track statewide trends regarding access, examining them across regions and within a broader national context. A greater understanding of the current reality allows us and our partners to discern actionable insights, then define and execute impactful strategies. Our in-house Data & Evaluation Team collects, analyzes, and curates unique data from diverse communities, from Omaha to Scottsbluff and everywhere in between.

The State of Access in Nebraska

In 2025, RHCN launched a mixed-method, collective-impact-based statewide sexual and reproductive health assessment. Our team is collaborating with reproductive health and data experts statewide and nationally to explore Nebraskans’ sexual healthcare needs and experiences to examine:

  • Access to services across the state
  • Knowledge and information
  • Client clinic experiences
  • Self-efficacy
  • Attitudes toward sexual and reproductive health.

In Fall 2026, we will release our report, The State of Access in Nebraska, which will inform our future organizational strategies and programming while offering key insights to partners and stakeholders statewide.
