Our Purpose

Vision

We envision a Nebraska in which all people have access to high-quality, affordable sexual and reproductive health care and the unbiased information and conversations that contribute to their well-being.

Mission

The Reproductive Health Collaborative Nebraska bridges the advancement of reproductive health equity with high-quality sexual and reproductive health care through robust support, education, and advocacy.

Principles

We are guided by our core principles of access, equity, and quality to ensure all Nebraskans receive affordable, destigmatized, and unbiased sexual and reproductive health education and care facilitated by statewide collaboration.

Access

Recognizing the unique challenges of accessing healthcare in Nebraska’s rural and frontier areas, we partner with health centers across the state to support the distribution of low-cost or free sexual and reproductive healthcare, sharing critical information to communities statewide, dismantling financial barriers, and advancing telehealth.

Equity

Ensuring that all people, inclusive of age, gender, race, sexuality, nativity, and other identities, have what they need to attain their highest level of sexual and reproductive health and well-being.

Quality

Engaging our partners in continuous quality improvement initiatives, adopting and training on evidence-based practices, and prioritizing the well-being and safety of clients. We are committed to ensuring care within our network is effective, safe, client-centered, and in line with nationally recognized standards of care.

History

Since 1991, Nebraska Family Planning (NEFP) has been a champion for reproductive health in Nebraska. We started as a team of experts from Title X clinics – development professionals, clinicians, and clinic administrators aiming to expand and advance Title X services in Nebraska.

Over the past five years, we’ve grown bigger and bolder. We’ve been awarded grants to expand access to care, improve quality, and make sure everyone has a fair shot at reproductive health, no matter who they are. This includes things like telehealth services for family planning and grants to increase access to contraception.

In 2024, we became the Reproductive Health Collaborative Nebraska. This new name reflects our ongoing commitment to sexual and reproductive health for all Nebraskans, especially those who haven’t always had equal access.
