Program Overview
The Community Advisory Council provides insights, feedback, and guidance to inform the work of Reproductive Health Collaborative Nebraska. Community members from across the state help the organization to be an effective champion for administrators, clinicians, and educators throughout Nebraska.
The CAC consists of current and former Title X clients and community members representative of the populations served by our programs. Members are diverse in age, race, ethnicity, location, and experience. Council members receive a modest stipend and meet four to six times per year, both virtually and in person.
The council contributes crucial information about community perception and awareness of Title X services. They have prioritized conversations around patient experience, racial equity in sexual and reproductive health, making services accessible to rural and underserved populations, developing strategic partnerships to impact systemic change, and navigating state programs.
I really value that there are individuals from all over Nebraska and with all different experiences. This gives us the right mix to have hard conversations and work through any barriers that come up.
